Aruvam (2019)

Aruvam is a supernatural thriller with a strong message about the importance of fighting for what is right. The film follows the story of Jyothi, a schoolteacher who is anosmic, meaning that she cannot smell. She is possessed by the ghost of Jagannathan, a food safety officer who was murdered by corrupt officials.

Jagannathan’s ghost uses Jyothi’s body to avenge his death and expose the corruption that led to his murder. Along the way, Jyothi learns to overcome her anosmia and use her newfound abilities to help others.
